Located in North Carolina, the franchise is the sixth farthest away from their NHL counterpart, who play out of Sunrise, Florida.</p>

Look out for the goaltending battle between Checkers netminder Kaapo Kahkonen, who holds a .927 SV% across 12 games played, and Arturs Silovs, who has a .929 SV% through all 18 of Abbotsford&#8217;s playoff matches.</p>
