Mikheyev went straight to the Canucks&#8217; room and the club announced that he wouldn&#8217;t be returning to tonight&#8217;s contest shortly after.
Prior to exiting with the injury, Mikheyev showed flashes of his trademark speed and some penalty-killing efficiency while on a unit with Elias Pettersson.
Mikheyev signed a four-year deal with the Canucks this offseason after spending three seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Bruce Boudreau didn&#8217;t have an update on Mikheyev post game, but said he would know more on Monday.
