However, the Canucks will once again have to get by without captain and scoring leader Quinn Hughes who will miss a third straight game with a lower-body injury.

The Canucks held an optional morning skate at the Shark Tank, however, head coach Rick Tocchet did not meet the media. So we are left to speculate about line-up decisions, including a starting goalie for tonight. Thatcher Demko is 12-0 lifetime against the Sharks, so that may factor into the decision, along with the fact Demko is coming off his first shutout of the season in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Colorado.
