<p>According to TSN insider Darren Dreger, there is growing interest around the league in acquiring veteran defenceman Carson Soucy from Vancouver, with &#8220;a lot of teams calling&#8221; about him.</p>

Vancouver has a bit of wiggle room with their cap to play with, to help facilitate Soucy&#8217;s movement to an organization looking to add depth to their blue line without breaking the bank.</p>
<p>Soucy was drafted in the fifth round in the 2013 entry draft by the Minnesota Wild and is now playing in his sixth season in the NHL. Since signing a three-year, $9.75 million contract with Vancouver on July 1st, 2023, he has 16 points in 99 games.</p>
<p>With the growing interest around the league after Brian Dumoulin was traded to the New Jersey Devils, the Canucks will have until tomorrow&#8217;s 12 PM PST trade deadline to decide what they will do with Soucy. He will have the last say, as he has a full no-trade clause.</p>
